暫緩入學
如果您認為孩子在健康狀況或發展上,暫時還沒有準備好進入小學,依據本市《身心障礙適齡國民暫緩入學辦法》就可以考慮申請「暫緩入學」。每位孩子僅能申請一次,且最多只能延緩一年。申請後,需經由「特殊教育學生鑑定及就學輔導會」審查同意,才會正式生效。以下為相關流程與資訊,提供您參考:一、什麼是暫緩入學?
原本到了學齡應接受國民教育的兒童,因身心狀況或特殊需求,可提出申請,延後一年再進入小學一年級。
二、哪些情況可以申請?
常見的情況包括:
- 障礙較晚被發現,導致學前教育或早療不足。
- 孩子因健康或醫療需求,不適合立即入學,需要長期治療或休養。
家長(法定代理人或主要照顧者)需於孩子應入學當年度的 三月底前 準備下列資料:
- 身心障礙證明或發展遲緩診斷證明。
- 戶口名簿影本。
- 暫緩入學替代計畫(適性教育計畫),需由家長確實且持續執行,以幫助孩子提升學習與適應能力。
- 其他必要文件。
四、通過暫緩入學後安置:
經鑑輔會審查通過,始由本市身心障礙鑑定中心執行暫緩安置作業,亦即再讀一年大班後再升小學一年級。

Deferred Enrollment in Elementary School
If you believe your child is not yet ready to enter elementary school due to health conditions or developmental needs, you may consider applying for Deferred Enrollment. This policy is based on the Regulations on Deferred Enrollment in Elementary School for Children with Disabilities in our city. Each child may apply only once, and the deferral period is limited to one year. Applications must be reviewed and approved by the Special Education Student Identification and Placement Counseling Committee. Please see the following information for details:
Children who have reached school age but are not ready to begin compulsory education due to certain conditions may apply to postpone enrollment in Grade 1 of elementary school for one year.
Common situations include:
- Children whose disabilities were identified relatively late, resulting in insufficient preschool education or early intervention.
- Children with health or medical needs who are not suitable for school attendance and require long-term treatment or recovery.
Parents or legal guardians (primary caregivers) must prepare the following documents before the end of March in the year their child is supposed to enter elementary school:
- Disability identification or developmental delay diagnosis certificate.
- A copy of the household registration.
- A deferred enrollment alternative plan (individualized education plan), which should be effectively and continuously implemented by the parents/caregivers to enhance the child’s learning and adaptation abilities.
- Any other necessary documents.
Once approved, the City’s Disability Assessment Center will carry out the deferred placement. The child will attend one more year of kindergarten (senior class) and then advance to Grade 1 of elementary school the following year.
